Drake Jensen receives the Gary Akers graduate student award.

Gary Akers was a true pioneer in biophysics and an visionary former head of the department here at Washington University. More information on Dr. Akers can be found here. Congratulations to Drake for receiving this award which carries additional funds to support his research.

Graduate student Drake Jensen joins the lab!

Drake is a member of the Biophysics program within the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences here at Washinton University and will be focusing on the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation in the pathogenic bacteria, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. See his page here.
